Sister Reginald arrived at St. Joseph's School in 1916 and devoted the next 24 years of her life teaching and guiding the young students of our community. She was high school principal for many years.

Very special recoginition must be given to her because it was under her supervision that St. Joseph's School became an accredited high school. Prior to that time the high school only went as far as the eleventh grade. The first class to graduate from the 12th grade was the class of 1925. They had the special privilege of graduating in 1924 from the 11th grade in and 1925 from the 12th grade. Few people can boast of graduating twice from the same school and yet not be demoted.

Another well-known teacher was Sister Annice who arrived in 1932 qand remained here for 17 years. She is remember for her excellent teaching methods and her special talents in the dramatic field.

All of the young people of our parish who attended St. Joseph's School owe much to all the Sisters of St. Francis of Dubuque who spent so much of their time and effort in instruction the students. We are grateful and thank them all.
