appointment.  Confessions will

also be on the 1st Thursday of

the month before daily Mass.

St. Andrew Lay Ministry Schedule

 

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must be:

  • Roman Catholics whose qualities of Christian life, faith, and morals recommend them 
  • Fully initiated Catholics (i.e., have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist)
  • At least 18 years old 
  • Regular participants in the sacramental life of the Church.  Shares in the Eucharist.
  • (if married) Within a wedding bond that is recognized (valid) in the Roman Catholic Church
  • Of exemplary christian character, committed to Faith and devoted to the Eucharist.
  • Respected by the community; interested and involved in the community.
  • In good standing according to the law of the church.
  • Spiritually sound and capable of adhering to all the church's procedures for Extradorinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

 

Lector at Mass must:

  • Have the capacity to read well, both materially and spiritually.
